Thankyou for the visit to my photography website. My name is Michael Shaft and I am blessed to live in a special place that allows me the oppurtunity to enjoy and capture the beauty with a camera. The majority of my pictures are from the areas around our Bailey home, and our property in Como (South Park) Colorado.
The last 10 years gave me the ability to focus on specific area icons. Lone Rock, Crooked Top, Mt. Logan, Mt. Rosalie, Mt. Rosedale, Merridian Hill, KZ valley, and South Park.
I'd like to tell you about the sophisticated camera equipment I use, but, I feel getting a good picture is all about being at the right place at the right time, and having a birds eye view, and an eye of the bird also helps.
All pictures on this site are shown in high resolution with aproximately 12 per page, taking about 2 minutes per page to download with high speed internet. I was not able to capture the essence of the pictures at lower resolution, without hiring an expensive web designer. Hopefully worth the wait.
All photos are printed on art quality matte photo paper. I use Claria pigmented high definition ink with a 75 year no fade guaranty. Frames are black, or silver alluminum with anti glare plexiglass. Each Photo is signed and numbered. The photo sizes I offer are, 5" by 7", 8" by 10", and, 13" by 19". All framed pieces, have a matte border increasing size by 20 percent. Matte color is chosen to compliment the photos.
